Software Development Consultant

As a Software Development Consultant III, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and preserving programs that help Verizon’s business operations. Working inside an agile surroundings, you’ll collaborate with cross-purposeful teams to deliver top notch software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and increase application functions by means of reading commercial enterprise necessities.
• Execute the overall software program development existence cycle (SDLC), which includes concept, layout, improvement, unit testing, launch, and support.
• Collaborate with group members and interfacing groups to ensure well timed delivery of projects.
• Mentor junior group members and guide them in their deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of applicable work experience.
• Experience in frontend/internet technology along with React JS, CSS, HTML, and Angular.
• Proficiency in server-aspect languages like Node.Js and Java, with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Reactive.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, inclusive of MongoDB, MySQL, and Postgres.
• Proficiency with GIT and model manipulate structures.
• Experience with RESTful API improvement.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud-local software improvement.
• Experience in effective code assessment, first-rate assurance, and overall performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilties.
• Experience in tracking gear such as Kibana, Grafana, or New Relic.
• Exposure to AWS CodeDeploy, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and comparable technologies.
• Experience with microservices structure and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies, gear, and strategies.
• Strong conversation, presentation, and collaboration abilties.
• Experience in mentoring junior builders and leading project teams.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, combining do business from home with assigned workplace days as determined via your supervisor. The function calls for a dedication of 40 scheduled weekly hours.
