Principal Project Management Specialist

Principal Project Management Specialist Lead big-scale, move-functional initiatives in Medtronic’s product improvement area. You’ll oversee initiatives from inception via release, making sure product nice, regulatory compliance, and well timed shipping.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Drive new product development and lifecycle management through cross-practical groups (R&D, Quality, Ops, Regulatory)
• Planning & Tracking: Build targeted assignment plans, manage schedules, budgets, assets, and song progress 
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify dangers, create mitigation strategies, and solve troubles to satisfy best and productiveness desires
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide ordinary status updates, facilitate selection-making, and hold leadership engaged .
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with design controls and medical tool standards (e.G., IEC, ISO)
• Mentorship: Coach and manual junior body of workers and probably lead team initiatives 

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s diploma required; advanced diploma desired.
• Typically 7–10+ years coping with complex, regulated product improvement initiatives—or five+ years with superior degree.
• PMP certification and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
• Experience with clinical tool products—in particular in cardiac or surgical tech—is beneficial. 
• Proficient in mission tools like Microsoft Project or ProChain.
