Work inside Boeing’s Experienced Support Engineering Data Specialist team to aid plane maintenance manuals and technical statistics. You’ll make certain correct, compliant documentation and analyze engineering designs to outline preservation, restore, and retrofit processes.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Create, replace, and revise aircraft preservation courses (e.G., AFM, FCOM) using authoring equipment and SGML/XML formats.
- Analyze engineering adjustments to specify protection/restore requirements and technical approaches.
- Perform technical information series for plane systems, spares provisioning, and supportability evaluation.
- Maintain S1000D-compliant documents like protection/operating manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical information.
- Utilize computing device research gear and requirements, coordinate with engineering groups, and manage version control.
- Identify supportability dangers and participate in non-stop development and lean processes.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s diploma (e.G., Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering or AME)
- eight–12+ years of experience in technical guides, preservation engineering, or guide facts roles for commercial or army aircraft
- Experience with preservation manuals (AFM, FCOM), S1000D, CSDB, and requirements like MIL‑STD and GEIA-STD.
- Proficient with MS Office, authoring equipment (SGML/XML), Jira, and SAP/Teamcenter-kind systems
- Strong analytical competencies, interest to detail, clean verbal exchange, and potential to manipulate multiple documentation tasks.
