Associate Director- Architecture

AKCom’s Enterprise Capabilities (EC) team is looking for an associate director – architecture to join its growing team in India. The role offers an opportunity to work on global projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide innovative architectural solutions. As part of AKCom’s Think and Act globally initiative, you will support international professional lines, share expertise, and contribute to high-quality design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document architectural design, calculation, and project documentation.
• Prepare specifications, reports, and data tables to support project delivery.
• Drawing, prepared and approved to suit project requirements.
• Cooperate with drafting, design, and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Handle complex technical assignments under supervision independently.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities in project teams.
• Mentor and Train Junior Architectural and Design Staff.
• Support the development of new architectural methods and techniques.
• Work on projects related to transport architecture and interiors of the workplace.
• Distribute quality results within the approved program and budget.

Abilities and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture (necessary)
• 13–18 years of professional experience in architecture.
• International Exposure (Middle East/US/UK) is desirable but not necessary.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation, a nd Proficiency in the relevant design tools.
• Transport architecture and experience in interiors of the workplace.
• The ability to manage the tight project deadline and distribute it under pressure.
• Innovative mindset with a desire to adopt new equipment and methods.
