Manager Finance Controller

We want to engage a Manager Finance Controller, who is not only competent but also deeply enthusiastic about the role, to be a part of our Financial department. This position will involve taking a big part in financial control, reporting, planning, and compliance work, in the absence of which even the smallest of matters will stand a chance of being inaccurate or lacking integrity. It will be the first-rate personality’s job to make it happen by drawing the business to better performance through the application of sound financial controls and the provision of financial insights to business leaders, enabling them to make better judgments.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the leader as well as the manager of financial controlling activities that comply with Tesco’s accounting policies and local laws.
• Get involved in the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Goal setting, follow-up, and reporting deadlines must be a hot concern of yours that you are relentlessly chasing their accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement solid internal controls that can secure the assets of the company as well as properly manage the risks that may arise.
• Work with different business teams to spot financial areas that could be a source of growth and increase in efficiency.
• Take charge of the organization and coordination of both the internal and the external audit processes, and be responsible for all regulatory submissions.
• Keep an eye on the most critical financial benchmarks and provide a set of practical suggestions to the senior management.
• Transformational activities, process improvement, and technology adoption are among the initiatives that can help financial performance reach higher levels.
• Finance leaders who specialize in this task should be there to direct, nurture, a nd tower the careers of finance professionals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• The occupation of a professional finance qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is considered highly.
• Experience of more than 7 years in finance, controller, or accounting positions with a priority for retail, FMCG, or multinational settings.
• IFRS/GAAP, rearing and deepening of rules.
• Skills with financial systems and equipment (SAP, Oracle, Excel, or something similar)
• Good analytical, problem-solving, a nd decision-making ability.
• Well-developed relationship with stakeholders, and the power to explain to top officials.
• Successful leadership and staff management skills.
• Accuracy in work, even when juggling several tasks with tight time frames.
