Job Description
Cigna Healthcare, part of The Cigna Group, is a division, is looking for a knowledgeable Architecture Advisor / Solution Architect to lead digital transformation initiatives within the IHDS and GEH portfolios. This position is about creating goods that are both commercially and technically feasible, in harmony with architectural concepts, and at the same time, juggling the constraints of the project delivery. You will be working with the business, IT, and third-party stakeholders to create plans that will usher in the modernization and operational excellence across Cigna International Health.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking the lead to define and deliver solution designs in an agile environment is one of your main tasks. It includes the translation of business and technical requirements into holistic target architectures.
- Being part of the team that develops the strategic roadmaps, defines architectures and technology standards, and fosters the use of emerging technologies.
- Collaborating with architects to develop all associated documentation and also taking part in the governance process to ensure compliance with standards.
- If required, you may also be offering the necessary input as well as taking a leading role in the discussion about the standards and good practices of integration.
- Moreover, you may be the one who finds the architectural risks along with the solutions while you are supporting the architecture and delivery teams through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- You may be involved in the complete project lifecycle, beginning with high-level planning, through to solution governance, and ensuring that the quality and alignment with strategic objectives are maintained.
- Functioning as one of the senior management’s key trusted advisors, thereby facilitating the adoption of simplification and modernization of technology landscapes.
Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years of technology experience, out of which 4 years must be in the solution architecture or lead technical design roles.
- Have technical knowledge covering applications, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and business processes.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, messaging queues, ESBs, and iPaaS for designing and governing integration architectures.
- Understanding of the business side of things, which also includes financial planning and budgeting.
- Experience of working in different locations and time zones with the help of virtual communication tools. Also, collaborating with other functional teams.
- The use of architecture modeling tools (e.g., SAP Lean IX, IBM Rational, ArchiMate) and integration/data transformation platforms.
