Job Description

IKEA is looking for a Commercial Manager who, as part of their job, will be responsible for delivering the best customer experiences and making the company’s revenues grow. Geographically, the role is in Pune, and the position supports the start of IKEA’s first physical Customer Meeting Point (CMP) in the city, thus empowering the customers to have a smooth omnichannel experience. Besides these responsibilities, you will also be accountable for heading commercial strategies, and your efforts will go to brand positioning and achievement of sales through both physical and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the lead for the commercial team that consists of Selling, Com-In, and Logistics, with Food and Customer Relations contributing as well.
  • Plan, develop, articulate, and implement the omnichannel commercial action plan. Also, take the responsibility for national objectives.
  • Implement concepts based on your IKEA range in-store, and the data from local markets, customers’ behavior, and sales turn into profit.
  • Store strategies need to be impacted with customers’ perspectives and functionally implemented in the store, with a possibility of inspiring and providing relevant home furnishing solutions.
  • Attract, train, and coach employees from different backgrounds to create a team that performs at a high level.
  • Establish a culture that is both inclusive and customer-oriented and is consistent with the values of IKEA.W hoo you are
  • Experienced leaders in retail with a proven track record of team development and business results.
  • Strong understanding of customer service excellence, inventory management, and commercial action planning.
  • Analytical, strategic thinkers with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Emotion about home presentation and excellent customer experience.
