Manager SRE – Cloud Automation

PepsiCo is in search of a brilliant, driven, and highly skilled Manager SRE (Cloud Automation) who is ready to become a part of their global technology team. This role is about creating, managing, and upgrading cloud automation frameworks and ensuring their scalability, reliability, and efficiency in various cloud environments. Working side by side with cloud teams, the candidate will be involved in the crafting of automation scripts, the simplification of deployments, and the rise of operational efficiency, all the while safeguarding the innovation and excellent standards of PepsiCo.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the automation activities in cloud environments by creating scripts, standards, and managing them.
• On technical grounds, the candidate is to provide the necessary development input along with robust problem-solving skills.
• Compose the required technical part of the system (automation) with the help of Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Write and update the automation scripts in either Python or PowerShell, as the case may be.
• Debug, relieve users of their problems, and extend the features of the automated parts of the system.
• Be responsible for the automation solutions, and also be a proponent of the idea of continuous improvement.
• Automate as well as perform deployment tasks on Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Deployment activities have to be taken care of, including the ones for stateful deployments.
• Create, construct, and finally mix REST APIs for automation as well as cloud management.
